A New Dataset Maps 27 Years of Gender Equality Law Across Europe

Political scientists Olga Lavrinenko and Kateryna Gryniuk (University of Warsaw) have released the Gender Equality Policy Dataset (GEPOD), a new open-access resource tracking how gender equality legislation has actually changed on the ground across Europe. Now live on Harvard Dataverse under a CC BY 4.0 license, GEPOD gives researchers, journalists, and policymakers something that's been surprisingly hard to find: a single, comparable, year-by-year record of gender equality law across the whole continent.
